Great Pink LA Challah Bake
The challah-making event is an amazing experience in that it brings 100’s of Jewish LA women together from throughout the city to learn and experience our special link our heritage in the making of challah. Come and join us for an evening of music, Jewish unity and fun as we learn the art of challah-making and braiding in preparation for the Shabbat Project.
This year, in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Sharsheret and Myriad will be offering educational resources. BRCA screening and testing by a local provider will be available before the event. Please bring your insurance cards and come early to participate in this opportunity.
Leading this exciting evening will be Joyce Azaria. Joyce is the former creative director of BCBG Generation. In addition to her important role as a busy mother of young children, Joyce is the founder and owner of Avec Les Filles and Rohb. Additionally, she is a partner of another awesome clothing company called WUKOgals. Come join us make challah and Joyce adds her own special flavor to the evening as she inspires and interacts with the audience. At the close of the night, raffle ticket winners will have a one-on-one session with Joyce about any topic. Don’t miss this opportunity!
