CITYWIDE: “BE THE LIGHT”
At this time, we are unable to join in person to make challah or have Shabbos meals together. Especially given all that’s going on in the world, with so many feeling so isolated, it seemed more important to us more than ever before to help connect Jewish women with each other and bring literal light into the world. To that end, we have organized kits which will be delivered for free, to any not-yet-lighting-Shabbos-candles women in the LA area who would like one. Each kit contains candles for one year, matches, votive holders, a bracha card, with local candle lighting times. To sign up and receive a kit, contact us at lashabbosproject@gmail.com.

JWI SHABBAT PROJECT 5781
This year, JWI joins the International Shabbat Project with a unique twist. Join them in two ways:
- Sharing the Love of Shabbat by creating Shabbat boxes to enable someone else to celebrate Shabbat (they will even help you come up with ideas!) For questions, contact Nicole: nmathalon@gmail.com
